Living in the Present

Description

Living in the Present, Japanese Shodo 書道, Chinese Calligraphy 書法, Zen philosophy Art, Framed Handwritten Art, Personalized Calligraphy Gifts, The Frame is included.

“Living in the present” is one of the core tenets of Zen philosophy, often used to remind us to live authentically and embrace the importance of enjoying the present moment. This idea emphasizes letting go of attachments to the past and anxieties about the future, focusing on each moment as it comes, and experiencing the true essence of life and its boundless possibilities. Zen calligraphy embodies the concept of “living in the present,” a pursuit of simplicity that conveys a refined and precise meaning. Through the fluidity of writing, it expresses the Zen principle of “non-attachment” (no dwelling of the mind). Each stroke may seem spontaneous, yet it is filled with freedom and flow, unconstrained by rules or form. This reminds the viewer to focus on the tranquility and ease within rather than the outside world’s distractions.

I appreciate your interest in my art. The calligraphy is custom. Because calligraphy is handwritten, I write the same word slightly differently each time. Therefore, your customized calligraphy and pictures on the website will differ somewhat, but my signature red seal name will be the same.
