I am an independent artist based in California, creating traditional calligraphy artworks and custom oil paintings.
My work is influenced by Chinese and Japanese artistic traditions, where art is not only about visual beauty, but also about intention, balance, and inner meaning. Every brushstroke reflects a moment of focus and presence — something I believe is deeply needed in today’s fast-paced world.

In East Asian calligraphy, a character is more than a word.

Custom Oil Paintings
In addition to calligraphy, I also create fully hand-painted custom oil portraits.
Each painting is created from your reference photos and painted entirely in oil, with careful attention to likeness, emotion, and atmosphere. Multiple photos can be combined into one meaningful composition.
From family portraits to memorial pieces, every custom painting is treated with respect and intention.
